Scott Beaumont was admitted in 1987, becoming a partner in the firm in 1990. Scott has extensive experience in all aspects of property transactions with emphasis on mining, multi-level unit development and rural transactions.
Mining
Scott's clients include:

Scott's experience with the mining industry includes:
- Compensation agreements with landowners
- Water agreements with landowners

- Appearance in Land & Resources Tribunal on contested applications for applicant mining companies
- Tenure and title advice
- Negotiations with statutory authorities on easements within mining leases
- Negotiation of leases and development applications with local authorities for mine infrastructure including staff and contractor quarters.
Unit development
Scott works for several developers in vacant land subdivisions and mixed use multi-level unit developments. That work includes the preparation of "off the plan" contracts, easements and contracts for the sale of management rights.
Rural
Scott has been involved in negotiating and preparation of:
- Contracts for significant acquisitions of both freehold and leasehold properties
- Sharefarming agreements
- Easements for water supply
- Rural partnership dissolutions.
