Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Business (International Business) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Queensland University of Technology in 2001. Kate was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in February 2004 and the High Court of Australia in February 2006. Previously Kate worked at a Brisbane law firm for three years and joined Swanwick Murray Roche in 2004.
