The overall firm structure is generally divided into sub-teams having responsibility for particular practice areas. Our paralegals/legal secretaries work predominantly in conjunction with the solicitors of one of these sub-teams. This allows our paralegals/legal secretaries to develop and demonstrate their detailed knowledge of and proficiency within a particular practice area or areas. However, given the size of the firm and its team culture, paralegals/legal secretaries do also provide support across the range of legal and administrative matters dealt with by the firm.
This role includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, trust account management, taxation matters, audit matters and general business accounting, analysis and reporting.
This team member is at the forefront of our interaction with our clients and professional colleagues. This role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail in the collection and dissemination of information. Our receptionist also undertakes a range of general office tasks such as those associated with mailing, library maintenance, document preparation and office presentation.
This role involves providing general administrative support across all practice areas and business of the firm which can include relieving other support positions during breaks and periods of leave, general typing and document preparation, attending conveyancing settlements and delivering documents.
